Take Action to Prevent Further Human Services Cuts

TAKE ACTION TOMORROW, Tuesday Oct. 20th, when human services and early education agencies and consumers across Massachusetts will be advocating to the Governor. This is part of the People First campaign that the Alliance has joined to advocate to the Governor to make no further cuts to the human services and early education sectors.

1. Call the Governor's staff at 617.725.4005. Also e‐ mail them (scroll down after clicking the link)
2. Call your senator and representative. Find out who they are.
3. Optional: If you use these technologies, please Tweet or send a Facebook message to the Governor.

Here is a script for your advocacy: “Good (morning/afternoon). I’m part of the People First! campaign, and I’m calling today to tell you a story about a person who I serve [or about myself].”

After the opening, tell a brief personal story that conveys why teen parent or teen pregnancy prevention services are essential.
