Break-Up Summit

Free The Boston Public Health Commission’s Start Strong Initiative and Northeastern University are proud to announce the inaugural “Break-up Summit”. It will be held on July 14th at Northeastern University. This free, one day summit is for youth and adults ages 15 and up. At the summit, youth and adults will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences around how to engage and support friends in healthy break-ups.
Sample teen workshops and discussions will include: Online Break Ups, Break-ups 101, When Break-ups Go Bad, Movin’ On.
Sample adult workshops and discussions will Include: Supporting teens through a break-up, Teen Relationships 101, Lessons Learned: reflecting on break ups.
Who: Boston area youth and youth serving organizations
Where: Northeastern University
When: Wednesday, July 14th , 2010. Summit runs from 10 AM to 3:30 PM.
Lunch will be provided.
