On March 8, the Alliance, in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, hosted an information session on the upcoming federal funding announcement (expected in April) for evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention.

The Gloucester Times ran an editorial (Teen Pregnancy Film Deserves to be Seen) and an article (Did race fuel Gloucester High School pregnancy media frenzy?) on the premiere of the "The Gloucester 18" documentary, hosted by the Alliance in Cambridge on March 4.

Recently, the Alliance presented at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta on our work to reduce teen pregnancy in Springfield using science-based approaches over the past few years. Check out our Science-Based In Springfield poster.
