Alliance presents on community-wide funding opportunity from CDC

On June 14, the Alliance hosted a community meeting/presentation at Baystate Medical Center on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention funding opportunity for community-wide approaches to teen pregnancy prevention. We strongly suggest Springfield and Holyoke partners take a look at this overview of California's statewide teen pregnancy prevention effort, which resulted in a major drop in that state's teen pregnancy, abortion, and birth rates between 1992-2005.
