New Alliance Partners
Alliance Partners With School Districts
The Alliance is pleased to be collaborating with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (ESE) to expand our Partners in Prevention Project to effectively address high rates of teen births among Latino youth and youth most at risk for pregnancy.
Together, the Alliance and ESE are working with teams of school-based partners to increase their capacity to identify, implement, and evaluate science-based approaches to HIV, STI, and teen pregnancy prevention. The Alliance is delighted to be working with the following partners, who were awarded planning grants from ESE through a competitive grant process:
- Holyoke Public Schools
- Framingham Public Schools
- Leominster Public Schools
- Lowell Public Schools
- Phoenix Charter Academy (Chelsea)
- Springfield Public Schools
These school districts have connected with community-based organizations, teen pregnancy coalitions, and family planning agencies in their cities to strengthen existing efforts to prevent teen pregnancy and promote adolescent sexual health.
