U.S. House Eliminates Teen Pregnancy Prevention, Title X Funds

Today, the House voted to eliminate the federal Teen Pregnancy Prevention Initiative Funds, Title X funding across the country, and funding for a number of other important programs. This includes the funding that supports the Alliance’s Youth First project in Springfield and Holyoke. If this spending bill is approved as is by the Senate and the President, the Alliance’s project will be defunded as early as March.
