Teen Parent Video Contest
The Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy is excited to announce our Teen Parent Video Contest. Teen parents are invited to submit a 2 minute video that conveys how their child motivates them to achieve their educational goals. We encourage creative video formats such as skits, testimonials, commercials, raps, etc. The Teen Parent Video Contest is an opportunity for Massachusetts’ teen parents to express their determination, courage, strength, and desire to complete their education for themselves and their children.
The 1st place winner will win a FLIP camcorder and have their video shown at Teen Parent Lobby Day at the Massachusetts State House on March 18, 2010.
The 2nd and 3rd place winners will have their videos shown on Teen Parent Lobby Day and be awarded $50 and $30 Visa Gift Cards, respectively. The Alliance will also email one video each month to policymakers to garner support for funding teen parent programs in the Fiscal Year 2011 State Budget. Below is a Video Contest Flyer you can distribute.
The DEADLINE for submission has been extended to Wednesday, March 10.
Here's how to submit your 2 minute video:
1. Upload the video to YouTube. Name your video with your full name and the phrase “MATPContest.”
2. Email Liz Umbro to tell her you submitted a video & provide your full name & phone number.
3. Don’t forget the deadline has been extended to Wednesday, March 10, 2010.
