What does this blog have in common with vulcanized rubber, Thanksgiving, and volleyball games?

Don't worry, I won't leave you in suspense.  Like public libraries, American universities, and nuclear-powered surface ships, they were all started in Massachusetts.  And, like all of these things, they soon caught on across the rest of the country (okay, maybe not the nuclear-powered surface ships).

Please don't let the "Massachusetts" in the name of our organization fool you.  Yes, we work with Massachusetts-based organizations and lobby on Beacon Hill, but when it comes down to it, we're working for young parents everywhere.  Teen parents across the country (and most of the world) have to deal with a lot of the same stereotypes and prejudices, and we want to change the discourse everywhere.  To reflect this, we have bloggers from several states and the United Kingdom writing for us.  Feel you're not being represented, geographically or otherwise?  Let us know.  We'll work on fixing it.

Moral of the story: read this blog, no matter where you live — and then leave a comment to let us know what you think!  Remember, good things start in Massachusetts (like, at the risk of alienating our UK readers… American independence).
